The Visiplex Assisted Living Intercom System is specifically designed for assisted living centers, senior facilities and nursing homes to add the benefits of two-way voice communications between resident rooms and caregivers, nurses, staff members or main office.
This assisted living intercom system can function with multiple indoor/outdoor zones and communicate with each specific intercom station individually. As a wireless solution, this system offers easy installation and expansion at any single or multi-building facility.
Residents can initiate a call by pressing the call button on the wall-mounted intercom station, or by using their personal wireless pendant/call button. When the call is received in the main office, the intercom/paging controller screen will display the room and resident information to start a two-way voice communication.
Each Visiplex assisted living intercom system offers additional wireless paging features such as: overhead PA paging, text messaging to LED display message boards, remote activation of corridor lights, interface to the local phone system, and more.
All Visiplex wireless intercom system components use UL approved parts and are compliant with NFPA-72 2010 standards, Department of Defense United Facilities Criteria (UFC), speech intelligibility (STI-PA) standard 2003 IEC 60268-16, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), OSHA and ADA standards and codes. Visiplex is an authorized government supplier (GSA listed).
