The VS638 Magnetic Mount Antenna is designed with an ABS plastic antenna and brass magnetic base.

The VS638 antenna has 0 dB (VHF) or 3 dB (UHF) gain and is ideal for operation in small-scale applications. The VS638 antenna is optimal for indoor single-story radio paging with low power transmitters.

The VS638 antenna’s diversity, frequency agility, low visibility, wide bandwidth and low angle radiation pattern makes it superior when compared to traditional gain antennas.

Description

The VS638 is a magnetic mount antenna for medium range application. The magnetic base is designed to be attached to a large metal base to provide grounding, making it ideal for indoor and mobile applications.

The VS638 antenna is a rugged colinear antenna with a wide vertical bandwidth, 0 dB gain and is designed for operation in all environmental conditions.

The VS638 magnetic mount antenna provides protection against corrosive gases, ultraviolet radiation, icing and wind blown abrasives.

The VS638 magnetic mount antenna is specifically optimized to be used with most of Visiplex RF paging transmitters and controllers.
