THE SOLUTION
Visiplex provided a fully wireless commercial public address system tailored to Covanta’s unique facility layout and communication needs. The solution included a wireless paging base station installed in the control room, high-power transmitter for complete RF coverage across the facility, multiple VNS2200 wireless outdoor speaker controllers housed in NEMA weatherproof enclosures, each controller powering VNS2088 high-power horn speakers for loud, reliable voice broadcasts
To meet the requirement for remote paging access, the base station was upgraded with the telephone interface module, allowing supervisors to dial in and broadcast messages from any phone.
Because the system is wireless, it eliminated the need for extensive cabling, reducing installation costs and allowing quick setup using only standard AC outlets at each speaker location.

The newly installed commercial public address system delivered the following benefits:
This wireless commercial public address solution not only improved safety and communication but also delivered cost-effective scalability for Covanta’s future operational needs.
